Charming personality of attendants.
I'm only giving one star because you can't give a lower rating. First of all, I am not from this area, I'm on a road trip. I usually prefer to stop at small "mom and pop" type gas stations. I generally enjoy stopping for necessities and chatting with the locals whenever I travel. I'm what one would call a "people person" who strives to support local businesses while doing what I love, travelling. My primary grievance is with the obscene treatment I received. I was SHOCKED at how rudely I was treated by the lady who was working there. As I am not from this country originally, I was not aware of the particular treatment that people with brown skin receive in select portions of the country. Yes I speak English and no, shouting at me isn't necessary. Since my home currency is the euro, I am not particularly used to dealing in dollars. When I went to pay with cash, I miscounted the amount. The cashier then preceded to yell at me the total repeatedly, as if I was cognitively impaired. If I lived in this area, I would never patronize this particular business again. Travellers be warned!
